Pro tip: take the time to read your manual and learn the combat. The in-game tutorials don't tell you too much. The combat is actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it. It's mostly just hated by people who tried button mashing and failed miserably. :wacko:

I should totally do my second playthrough. Gotta get that succubus sex scene I apparently missed on my first run! :wacko:

See, I'm a FPS lover who likes to fire virtual guns at anything, but if even someone like me doesn't enjoy Homefront, then there's something definitely wrong with the game. :wacko:

Medal of Honour had a good shooting mechanic and all, but the story/setting was dull and the multiplayer was awful. <_< See why COD makes it big? At least it's somewhat fun to play, even if people hate it that much, they can't deny it's fun sometimes. :P

You know what stopped me buying it for £15? When I heard it was made by the team behind Frontlines Fuel of War. Because fuck, that game is atrocious.

I played a tiny bit of it on 360 when it first came out. I thought it was... Alright

I've played some shitty fuckin' FPS games in my time though, so I thought Homefront was pretty OK.

If you want a shitty FPS go play Soldier of Fortune Payback or any of the budget Activision FPS games (Secret Service, Jurassic the Hunted, etc.) :wacko:

IIRC the controls are default setup for WSAD, but the way that you move around isn't right, right turns you right and left turns you left as opposed to actually strafing. IT FEELS SO 2000 MAN.

I'd say you got the best out of it around that time. Late 90s/early 2000s were amazing for PC games. Don't get me wrong, there's some really cool indie stuff these days, but it's just not the same.
