A remake of the Link to the Past would be cool.
That would be nice. I personally think Zelda hit its peak with that game although I did enjoy Windwaker. Can't stand the N64 ones.
I would pay so much money for a Link to the Past remake.
I would fuckin' pay $100 for it if I needed to. :lol
Nintendo would make bank doing a proper remake of A Link to the Past.
The Tony Hawk remake is good, but the soundtrack is censored and there is no blood when you fall. Despite the fact that the Teen rating is solely for lyrics. :/
Haven't looked at the Xbox for a couple days and just hopped on and noticed RE7 is on Gamepass.
I already have it but at least I won't have to get off my lazy ass to stick the disc in if I so desired to play this piece of trash game again :lol
sup Zal
Nuthin much.
Playing Baldurs Gate again.
Thank you Deadlegion :fist:
:pwacko:
I might get a Xbox Series X or whatever its called, if it really does have a lot of good backwards compatbility. I have a good chunk of xbox 360 games. A Ps5 would also be a good idea. However I'm not super interested in next-gen, it doesn't excite me like it used to.
I'll get one since I have an Xbox One. The backwards compatibility junk is already pretty good and by all accounts it will continue on with work to bring even more past games to it. They stopped on the One a couple years ago I assume to focus more on the new system.
Not gonna get it day one by any means though. Maybe a couple of years.
I miss Sony though :(
My main PS3 and PS4 consoles are packed away, they're still linked to my ID tho. PS4 is still on old OFW but I haven't done the exploit on it yet.
I have a spare PS3 SS hooked up solely as a DVD/BD player, just to save some wear on my main BD player which is totally region free
I bought my Ps3 secondhand, it was already updated, it had the new firmware, so the install other OS wasn't on it. However it is a fat ps3 and is backwards compatbile with PS2 and PS1 games. I probably won't be buying the new systems anytime soon. I wonder if the PS5 will only be backwards compatible with a handful of PS4 games, or they pull out something and it is backwards compatbile with all previous Sony consoles.
I think it's unlikely PS5 will have much in the way proper BC like Xbox has had this gen.
Possibly PS4 discs will work but other than that I wouldn't expect much from them at all, they're likely to go the same way ninty has with making people pay for old games over and over again with no other option.
By all indications Xbox Series X will have the same BC capability that One has, although I'm not sure if One physical games will install from disc on SX or just have inner ring read to download digital version like Xbox & Xbox 360 games that are BC.
Remember when Sony used to champion BC? Those were the days. The fact that Xbox Series X will be able to play original Xbox games is great. I don't know how an all digital future is going to look. There are still parts in the U.S. that don't have hi-speed internet. I'm still on old slow DSL.
I just love it. I know I've mentioned it before but once again sitting in my chair and looking out the window whilst watchng some shows at the bright moon and Mars twinkling red just above it and a little to the right.
Been quite visible for awhile now and will continue for some time. 5th brightest celestial object right now.
I miss living out in the country and seeing the stars clearly every night. :( Hopefully I get a good enough job soon that we can move out to the country again lol. I'm wanting to get a Telescope really bad.
Living out in the country is peaceful. City living is too hectic.
Yeah each has their advantages and disadvantages, but I'd pick country over city.
I think for most sensible people it's choosing less stress over convenience. But plenty of people will increase their stress levels for the sake of convenience.
More stress affects your health. Living in the country is healthier for starters anyway. Real estate and even rent rates can be cheaper in the country.
With covid it's obvious living in big cities is riskier than rural areas. People in Melbourne are going crazy atm (they even have a night curfew) but out in the country we're just wearing masks, still doing stuff and having very low infection rates.
I guess one other downside to living in the country is slower internet, but DSL can give you pretty good speeds if you can get a good plan. I suppose it alao depends on your geographic area as well.
Guess I'm putting on the Blue Shirt again and working at Best Buy starting next week Monday. Part time, unfortunately, but with the 30 hours/week + Door Dashing, we'll make it.
I do get a discount! I'm really looking forward to having that back again. Have some things on my radar as long as I can have the money for it. Reallllly wanting to get Cyberpunk. And I know we carry Arcade 1UP Cabs and...Well I really hope there's a nice discount on them.
I only get 20% off.
I don't remember how much we get off exactly, I know it varies from product to product. But I may stock up on batteries again since we get them for really cheap...I went through 3 of my 5 boxes of batteries in a couple years... Need to get some HDMI Cables too and those we can get really cheap too. Got my TV for like $300 off too once. :lol
We don't have much in the way of new stuff, but I should get another mattress soon we stock those new. Probably wait for summer weather it's better for transporting stuff in the trailer.
I still haven't officially gone back to work yet anyway, I've been off for like 6 months :lol
Have popped in now and then to catch up with everyone though and see what has been going on.
A new mattress is something I'm definitely saving up for with Door Dash... :lol Either that or I'm taking out of my 401k anyway, might as well use that to get ourselves a new mattress cause we desperately need one. :lol
That's cool you get a discount. I need to get a couple of HDMI cables. I know my local Best Buy carries select 1-up arcade. I wish they had the TMNT one.
After being around for some years I'm sure most people know about Ben Swolo.
But what about...
Spoiler warning:
Found out some hilarious news about the shitty side of my family. My step-dad's-cousin's-husband who divorced his wife and started screwing his cousin apparently has a kid older than me that no one knew about. His parents stumbled across a surprise genealogy link the through an ancestry dna site and he's a grand parent now. Its funny because the kids we did know about are all 6-7 years younger than me and even they no longer associate with the guy.
I saw that too, lol. We don't have the room in our current place for it right now, but my Dad's been looking at a Double Wide Trailer for us that he might get us cause it would bring us closer to them for when my Mother babysits. Then I can get it finally.
