You know yourself there's plenty of western stuff that isn't available on BD yet even though it's popular enough to warrant it. With anime I assume only the best stuff would be considered, or stuff requiring little effort to release on HD format.

Cause I read from one of the guides that you can obtain 5 of the 6 trophies on Wolfpack mode (not sure about this one) by just playing on your own, and the last one is with other players? (using skills on different modes)

Lots of stuff is available in Japan on blu. US prices are much cheaper. There are lots of shows that companies like funimation and sentai wanted to release here on blu but couldn't because the Japanese companies blocked it.
