A terrible thing to think about :dread:. Arcana Heart is the only fighter I play that isn't four button. I play CvS sometimes, I've got the buttons set to weak/strong and ignore the medium.

After back reading all I have to say is:

And I only find the medium punch and kick to reduce projectile velocity/properties.

Hey, hey, medium kick is also good, sometimes. But yes, I find that, for most projectiles, the longer they are on screen the better they are.

I rarely use weak projectiles, except in Fatal Fury.

There is way too much psyduck in this thread.

I guess it really depends on the game, when it comes to medium's function. I know the street fighter shoto's crouching forward is pretty strong, and linkable to all sorts of garbage.

That's because mind games are important in fighting games. Mind games are the only way I can think of to outmaneuver and outplay an opponent. Since you can't always relay on the match up winning itself.

So I just bought this today, thought I'd make a thread about it and chat about it with you guys. I'm looking for some help with it as well...

Considering I just bought it today and have had only about one our of play time, I REALLY enjoy this game. I love the character roster, so many different characters in one fighting game, it's a lot more than Mortal Kombat: Annihalation! I love it! :D Lol. Anyway, so I have to ask some questions...

I don't have a fighting stick, so I can't do these combos very well and idk how to do LK, HK, MK, any of that. >_< Can anyone help me with that?

Anyway if you guys could help me out that would be great lol.

You don't really need an arcade stick, unless its the PS2/PS3 version.
The Joysticks on the Xbox/DC Controllers work just fine.
But you have to be a fast semi-button masher.

Looks like I need an arcade stick then. XD Lol. 'Cause I'm a semi-good button masher, but I'm still trying to do some of the combos and snazz. The next time I get some cash I might go back to GameStop, buy Tekken 6 with the Fightstick for 60$. Then I can easily play Mortal Kombat and MvC2. :LOL:

Yeah I'm probably gonna buy another Arcade stick, it's really not a bad investment as long as you get your use out of it.

thats the funny thing, i never been one for arcade sticks until i started playin Neogeo on my PC, Serious Fun.

I've been meaning to buy one, other purchases keep pushing it back.
If the arcade stick connects with USB, it would work on the PC and a PS3.
