Original looking is the key imo (lowering is beneficial sometimes though....for street/track use).
Suspension can be changed back to stock anyway........I've changed back and forth many times with many cars to appease the fuzz and then to be naughty again :booger:
Mod the hell out of it under the skin
I want a fully original MK1/2 Golf GTI, but I know it'll never happen. :crying:
So how long do we all have to be hear before we start making each others dreams come true?
Mk2 Golfs are pretty cheap I reckon. The Mk3 GTIs are the cheapest because they're the most underpowered of the lot.
Insurance is fucking ridiculous for new drivers over here, so I'll probably not even have a GTI until I'm in my 40s. :low:
I'm envious of my Grandad driving around in the 80s without a license, tax, MOT or insurance and never being caught.
Sorry guys, I should have none you would automatically think I was talking about sexual favours. I mean the entire site pulling together to buy Dan an MK golf.
And me a rickenbacker.
And raype a reall really really depraved hooker.
An MK Golf? Don't you mean Mk1 or 2? Can tell someone doesn't care about cars.
You have a certain car, you join a club for the car (or manufacturer) and there's special insurance deals or whatever.
Zero excess in some cases.
Buy a Vauxhall Viva, join the club and hang out with chaps that wear tweed.......and there's cheap insurance :artist:
