It varies. I started out using small woodland creatures. We all know how well THAT turned out. Not one of my greatest brainwaves, I'll admit. I then stole the concept of Chaos Drives from GUN after Evil Plot #210: Adventure 2. Modified them to work better, of course. Seriously, GUN's scientists need to do better. The current power source is a classified piece of information. For obvious reasons. Nice try though.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say the same thing, and 'Scourge' just put the Master Emerald bollocks out to cover for it, but no, I can detect emerald signatures across dimensions (bloody things are just too powerful), and he did it all right. Still no match for Sonic, but there you are.

EDIT: Incidentally, that's also why it's impossible to find the Chaos Emeralds using regular sensor arrays. The power signature is so ridiculously massive it's a bit like trying to detect the sun from it's core. It's undoable.

Oh most certainly. Some of the dimensional counterparts that I've mentioned before have already snapped completely. Archie's Robotnik lost his mind completely, but managed to reason his way back to sanity. The Robotnik seen in Sonic the Comic from the UK? Beyond salvation. He's still a genius, but his mind is an absolute wreck. In my case, I don't think I'll snap like that. I enjoy my battles against Sonic and his friends. Who knows though, maybe someday I'll truly give up.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA Who'm I kidding. The world will be MINE!

Also, that pinball fortress was from Evil Plot #112: Spinball. Let's just say it wasn't exactly my greatest brainwave of all time. Though ridiculously enough, Sonic later told me that the Veg-O-Fortress may have stopped him, but only out of sheer aggravation. Apparently things were a bit TOO irritating in there. Still, I'm glad I never repeated that daft plot.

Depends on the point of view you want. As an old competitor, I respect them for what they've accomplished in the field, but none of them are as brilliant as me. As just another company, I think they're focusing far too heavily on gimmicks and need to work harder on new original content. Too many remakes, too few new things.

I think that the original Egg Carrier wins though. As I said back then: "My floating masterpiece!"
As a personal use battle mech though, I'm torn between the Egg Dragoon from evil plot #301: Unleashed, the unnamed mech the Egg Dragoon was later based off I used to trick Sonic into going Super, and then drain his power to unleash Dark Gaia in the same evil plot (note: see intro cinematic for the one I mean), and the Evil Plot #198: Adventure 1 iteration of the Egg Walker. Sure, the one from Evil Plot #210: Adventure 2 had a longer life, but the original was a bloody walking TANK. With structurally weak legs. Damnable Tails...

Oh, and yes you can. You won't hit him, but feel free to try. Who knows, if you succeed I may even give you a position of power in the Robotnik Empire (tm)

To question one: If I'm completely honest, probably. I do NOT want to kill (just destruction and conquest). I'd try to capture and immobilise them before I'd do anything permanent to them though.
Question two: They don't capture them as such, they used to use them as a power source, hence Sonic destroying them to free his friends. Understandable sentiment, really. Those woodland creatures provided power, but it was really a daft power system.
Question three: Similar to earlier plots, Evil Plot #108: Flicky used assault bots that were powered by small woodland animals. In this case, flickies. They had a twofold purpose this time though - the flickies are sensitive to chaos energy. The flicky-powered robots were to seek out and bring me the Chaos Emeralds. Didn't work out. It was also one of the last times I used animals as batteries, much to my relief.

Shadow? Don't speak to me of that blasted ball of amnesia and angst. I had some hopes for him after Evil Plot #210: Adventure 2, but since then he's been screeching "MARIA!" every two seconds of every damn DAY. He's not a foe, that would require me to be willing to acknowledge his existence, and I really prefer not to. Yech.

Currently, nothing. During Evil Plot #198: Adventure 1 I did mention that together with Chaos, we would reduce Station Square to rubble, and on its ruins I would build Robotnikland, the ultimate city!

Not something I've considered, but I suppose technically my most powerful mechs are my 'super forms', given that they frequently require Chaos Emeralds to power them - blasted power demands.

Still, I'm looking into other possibilities. At least the Master Emerald's doing fine on the Egg Carrier. Knuckles still hasn't figured out I replaced his with a fake. Yes, he's still that dim.

If he's so dim, why not manipulate him into working for you? I'm sure he'd be of some use.

A "hoveround"? If by that you mean "hovering personal transport" then yes. Eggmobile ring a bell? Also, it's not a wheelchair. I don't need it to get around, but it's bloody convenient.
