Probably...mine's actually 128MB too. I bought it over a year ago for about that same price.

Funny thou, i can play any other game i want, but as soon as WoW crashs my GFX is "fried" =S
WINDOWZ USEZ A 2D ENGINE, WOW USEZ A 3D ENGINE, UR 3D ENGINE IS FRIED
Um, but i can play other games like DoW, Sims 2, Star Wars.
UR 3D ENGINE IZ FRIED *Renames thread title*
/facepalm.
I think your 3D engine might be fried.

i can't get over how stupid that sounds
your 3D engine is fried

somebody change the hangout title now or we will fry your 2D engine which windows runs on ;)
Nah, its Blizzards fault, the day the new patch game out i got GFX trouble, not before, only after.
They have told me everything from:
Its your user addons (Same ones ive been using since the start of their last patch)
My card is fried.
My fan is dirty.
My card has over heated and fired itself.
I wasnt using DirextX
And my fav, your GFX card is to old to play WoW  that was replied before i even posted what my card was, and the cunt didnt read ive been playign for some time now on the same card.
Its no just me having trouble, theres like 5 threads on it.
LOLOLOLOLOLOL HAHAHA WTF!?
You could always try the latest beta for your card just for the hell of it:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_163.71.html
But if that doesn't fix it then yeah it's totally blizzards fault. Sounds like they're turning into EA. None of those would apply to you, if your card was overheating you'd artifact before the game crashed, or at least all your games would crash.
I don't have said powaz :(
Cards have profiles, 2D and 3D, all this really changes is fan speeds and clocks. When it's in 2D mode it doesn't need all that power so to reduce power usage and heat it lowers the clock and fan speed a little (usually anyways, I donnu my fan doesn't change  ) You can alter the profiles individually and overclock the card and adjust fan speed etc in 3D. (2D as well but why? unless you were to just underclock it more I guess) This is probably where they are getting this "3D engine fried" thing from. :XD: Cards don't really have engines to fry anyways :P
And actually, you can sometimes repair a fried card if all you damaged was the mosfet or something, as what happened recently here:
http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1226166
I have those drivers, someone said to get 77.XX drivers, im doin that now.
It is Blizzards fault, they had a patch ages ago, ATI cards werent working becuase they fucked up, yet they wouldnt admit it....
Ive updated all my drivers and everything, but its funny my WoW was running fine up untill the point where i installed the new patch, then all of a sudden, MY GFX is fucked up and burnt out >_>
Then get a new one! :P
I need to hack someone's wireless network. My iPod picks up a good signal at work, but I need a password.
