can anyone recommend any games like rune factory & harvest moon games
Black and White
 Rune Factory and Harvest Moon are really one of a kind, there are different games in the series.
And Mohit, Pokemon Black and White? Not entirely like Harvest Moon and Rune Factory, mate.
what about these games http://tales-central.com/?q=talesgames
not all are posted for download though
Not sure if this thread is in the right place.
Oh well, let's back to the topic.
There're no games that're 100% similar to Harvest Moon series or it's spin off.
But there are some games that you should try.
1) Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times
2) Animal Crossing
3) Shepherd's Crossing
4) Green Farm (Facebook game)
And of course, you should check some of the past, the present and the future games of Harvest Moon franchise.
The non-Iris Atelier games, maybe? They're a fair bit more RPG-ish than Harvest Moon (I haven't played Rune Factory), but they have some of the same time management / life sim elements to them, and similarly innocent, slice of life-ish stories.
Hmm there is one series that's a lot like Harvest Moon, made by the same people actually, check out Rune Factory, it's best that you look at Let's Plays and videos of it.
Black & White is a God game, made by Lionhead Studios(known for creating Project Ego and screwing it up,) it's a God Game, with Strategy, I can't really think of any game quite like it. But another God Game to look at would be Dust, it was all and all a little disappointing but fun.Quote:

From Dust was a disappointment...
I still think Molyneux's best game is Dungeon Keeper. If you guys haven't played that, you really need to. GOG.com has an updated and enhanced version for like $5 I think.
That's the very reason why I hate Lionhead, they are way too ambitious, B.C anyone oh wait Peter Molyneux dropped it because it was too ambitious, they never actually look at their limits they just try to go sky-high, you should have seen that amount of features for Fable III that they dropped. When I was on the wiki, there was an argument as to delete that list of broken dreams.
Vanquish for PS3/360 is really enjoyable if you don't mind flash over substance. It's really short though, but if you liked Bayonetta and Mad World there is a good chance you'll enjoy it seeing as it's made by Team Platinum.
Chrono Cross is good.
Metal Gear Solid is good.
Sonic Unleashed (Wii) is great.
Sonic Colors is great.
Sonic and the Black Knight is good.
Sonic Adventure is great.
Sonic 06 is great.
Skyward Sword is great.
Twilight Princess is great.
I don't know if this thing has been resolved. but can you guys tell me what are the co op games that I can download?
sorry if I posted this on the wrong area, I'm new here
For which emulators? I think GTA San Andreas has co-op on the PS2.
I'm sorry I didn't include it. but I just downloaded the PCSX 2 version 1.0.0. almost all of the information that I've gathered brings me here on emuparadise for downloading games (roms) just want to ask if someone might know what are the awesome games to play with co op, so that I can play it with my friend. I'm downloading smack vs raw, contra, tekken 5 and dragon ball. anything else please?
Any of the Time Splitters games had great split-screen. If you like sports games Pro Evolution Soccer 2006 has a campaign mode where you slowly grow players into stronger athletes etc.
I 'think' The Bouncer (Squaresoft Beat-em-up \ RPG) had co-op, Resident Evil Outbreak had co-op
argh my mind's gone blank, there's tons more I'm sure
Would you prefer any other system apart from PS2 for co-op games?
Yeah there's tons of co-op games that are easy to emulate for SNES and Genesis and NES
like Battletoads!

Or Seiken Densetsu 3 if you want a full length co-op RPG

Personally, I like "adventure" games such as Space 1889 and Myst. I just recently got an Xbox 360, so if there are adventure games for that system... Games for Playstation and PS2 would also be appreciated.
Abe's Oddworld is a puzzle\adventure game
Riven is the sequel to Myst and on psx I think
some Xbox games work on 360 too, hopefully these do

Hey guys. So I've finally gotten myself an android phone. Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro. :D It's a really good phone and so far I've managed to run PS1 emulator on it and customize it to my likings. So besides playing on emulators, what android games would you suggest that would be worth my time? I'm specifically looking for "Hardcore" games, since casual games are everywhere and a simple google search returns tons of them. :)
Thanks in advance.
Edit: So far installed: Asphalt 5, GTA III, Worms, and Critical Strike. All very good games. Am currently looking for strategy games similar to Age of Empires.
Any PS2 and up games that you guys love that no one talks about? Im just wondering with how there all these forums online and Amazon Lists if there will be in the future "Forgotten Gems" of the PSP, DS, 360 and PS3 era.
What horror themed arcade games do you recommend for Mame? I really like Splatterhouse, Night Slashers, Darkstalkers and the Ghosts'n Goblins series.
I've been debating this all day and I cant decide what game to play guys.
Well clearly you don't have enough choices man. If I were you I'd give Big Momma's House a go, it's sure to be killer masterpiece. Although personally I find the sequel to be quite superior in the audio & gameplay department.
:troll:
Srsly though. The only one of those I've ever played would be the MGS series, I've never picked up a PS3 controller in my life. No point IMO since the only exclusive they have that I'd like to play is MGS4, hardly enough to justify picking up an entire console for.

I'd play Skyrim.
Fairy Tale Fights looks promising.
