I disagree about #3, it depends on the situation. Tell both types of clowns exactly what they don't want to hear or what they want to hear if it helps them self-destruct just don't get caught in the blast radius. They're out to destroy whoever isn't on their side and mistake independents for someone in the opposing party despite not being involved in either party, nonetheless you're being caught in the crossfire and neither side cares who is destroyed along the way to destroying the opposing party. Dodge the incoming, take neither side, make them miss you as a target so they can destroy one another while you survive their polarized shitshow circus.

In the end, both sides are hell-bent on self-destruction and you can't reason with unreasonable people therefore help them get what they want.

Playing a run of Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 again. Went with a Paladin this time, don't think I've ever done it before. On the second game now and finishing up all the sidequests on Chapter 2, just a couple left before proceeding. Just have to do Trademeet and kill Firkraag the red dragon which is the last of the Paladin stronghold quests!!! Like that armor you get from the order too. Rocking -10 AC right now and level 12. Using the Celestial Fury as my main weapon too!!!
