Nothing wrong with that. My brother in law has become decently fluent in Japanese specifically because he enjoys anime, video games, and manga. A reason to learn makes the learning better and more effective and more likely to stick around.

Still curious how far you've gotten at speaking. I'm not asking to skype with you or anything. lol.

Yes, I think that learning becomes a lot more productive when there is a reason, but also when it is enjoyable.
But what do you mean with "how far you've gotten"? I think this is actually my Lv.100. ^_^
