NO NO Don't pay for crunchyroll! Just go to animeseason, 75% of the time they upload HD, and it's always on time. And you don't have to pay or any crap like that.
But yeah, you guys just kind of blend together sometimes I'm sorry. :]
I find that Canadian commercials are slightly more tolerable and reasonable (except for local stuff, which I think is just horrible everywhere), but the amount of them in a show is about the same. Maybe a bit less, but not noticeably. We also have different standards for what is allowed to be showed in commercials here, so they're more pleasant and stereotypically Canadian.
As for what makes it on the air... yeah, we really do have a rather puritan culture when it comes to sex and language, but really aren't bothered by violence. I really have no idea why. :shrug: I like to think Canadians aren't as uptight about it, but that's probably just a personal bias.
