Some favorite moments to me are the conversations (if you can call them those) with Gohan and Vegeta about his plans for immortality.
Genius.

13k?
Hey Drag and Flavaflave.
It actually is a pretty good price. I'd expect one to go at auction for somewhere between $10-$13K anyways, so being able to buy one outright at $13K isn't that terrible of an idea. Most people who put these up for BINs on eBay would have priced it around $22K, which I might expect the Gold one to go for.
I will never, ever own a NWC cart. Unless I win the lottery. And only then.
I'm fine. I was just wondering if that was the price of a game. damn. The conversations between Goku and Vegeta are funny.
Do you have a Repo cart of it by chance Drag? I've seen some of them floating around, usually in the $50+ range. Granted, it isn't official obviously but would probably be a nice stop-gap until you can burn away over 10k on a cart
It's a rare competition cart that was never made available to the public. There were 90 of them that were given to the winners of the Nintendo World Championships competitions around the US in 1990, and 26 Gold cartridges that were given to random winners in a Nintendo Power contest, and that's it. They are considered one of the holy grails of video games, especially for NES collectors. The only thing I would consider more rare for the NES than an NWC cart would be a complete in box Stadium Events, and even then not by much.
I've seen them around and have thought about buying one, but in the long run I would never touch it and it would just be a waste of money. Maybe one day, but it's not high on my priority list. Once I'm over the hump for my licensed title collections, I'll consider it.
I think there's a Snes NWC cart out there too. I don't know much about it other than I think it was called the Campus Challenge instead of the NWC. I don't know what prices it commands since it never seems to be talked about much.
