You know, I've been trying for months to connect my laptop to my TV to watch anime/movies etc.
I use a S-Video to A/V (it has a headphone jack for audio), but when I turn the TV to the input and try to connect it doesn't detect my TV. :shrug:

This one didn't make it easy. I had to download the firmware update for the TV, and set the video card to display unsupported resolutions.
Trial and error, I came up with 1920x1080.

Mine isn't some giant flatscreen or anything.

Just a 32" SD TV.

Just looked and the damn thing has a S-Video input as well as A/V.
Wish I had bought just an S-Video cable now, but it wouldn't have sound, would it? :thot:
