Yeah, but I've actually driven cars around (temporarily) with different coloured panels until I got them sprayed.

The one I drove without a bonnet wasn't a beater dude...it was an Aussie classic (modified of course) built in 1964.
I needed the bonnet repaired, and I needed it to drive to work...so I pulled the bonnet off and took it into the shop instead of the whole car.
A couple of months later I had my licence cancelled for various driving and vehicle offences :revwacko:

Driving with just a provisional license isn't all that uncommon around my neck of the woods. Hence why I wanted my license.

Yeah, it's the same here, legally you're not allowed drive without a provisional license but that law is rarely enforced.

As long as

A) You can drive
B) Your car has at least third party insurance, tax and an MOT & is generally road worthy
C) You're lucky

Then you'll get away with having no license.
