Well it directly affected the biome generation settings in the minecraft.jar.
Official map generation updates would be cool :P

It saves everything you have explored, the map is generated on the fly so the more you explore the more it has to save.
An average chunk is 16(x co-ordinate)*16(z co-ordinate)*128(y co-ordinate, the bedrock is at 0-6, sky at 128) = 32768 blocks per chunk and I think there are about 200 different blocks at the moment so it has a lot to save, it's not like other games where it reads from a pre-written map file. With this considered it's understandable why save files are huge.
In theory you can have an endless map but only activity like growing and creature spawning occurs in 81 chunks around you which is why you shouldn't leave your tree farms alone. >.>
I thought that was meant to be difficult to do, maybe it's just here though or there is a LOT of paperwork involved.
I found a website where you can buy Regal titles, it claimed that people would respect you instantly because of a title of Baron. If you found out somebody bought a royal title all you would think is what an idiot this person is.
Yeah, I was amazed at how easy it is after all the things you hear about people having to go before a tribunal in the US to do it. Heck you don't technically even have to pay anything here. :P Under British law it's completely legal to go under any name you want so long as you don't intend to commit fraud. But in order to change your name on passports, bank accounts etc..., you need a document signed by you verifying the change of name. There are a whole bunch of websites that produce them. Technically you could make your own, if you wanted. But I figured I didn't really know what I was doing, and it was easier just to pay the small charge. :'D
Had a reason. But you'd probably think I was joking if I told you. :P
Really? I'm pretty sure Ireland has the same laws as Britain, where all you need is a deed of change of name. Of course you have to pay a little on top of that for reissued passports, birth certificates etc..., but I think changing your name is as simple as choosing to go by a new name and drawing up a document saying as much.
You might be right considering we more or less copied and pasted the English legal system along with other countries.
*googles*
You're right
It's amazing how quickly you descend into thinking of the stupidest name you possibly can when it's so easy to change your name. Really had to fight the urge to throw something really ridiculous in there. :P
Already posted about it in Retro, and don't intend to go into any real details here, but I suppose it'll come out sooner or later. I'm getting a sex change. No, really. :P
Mission 9 complete. On to mission 10.
Also, hi Elin.
