You fag toy
Anyone know any way to fix the boot sector on a hard drive. This thing is driving me nuts. I can load up fine if I boot up from the usb key and the drive seems to be running a little slower than normal too. I know the hard drive is fucked but can't really afford a new one right now (gonna keep an eye for used but :dread: ) it's a 2.5" IDE of all things and they seem to be more expensive than a sata that has 5 times the space. Maybe some magical software or something? I think I'm really just boned but thought I'd ask.
Download of castlevania lords of shadow is complete, bout to play the shit out of that and then anticipate for the second one
Believe me that's the first thing I tried
I even had those crazy hal and kernell dll errrors but think I've taken care of those at least. When I boot up without the stick it gives me a slightly different error message when I go to log in stating that their isn't enough system resources as well :grazy: Which is silly because as far as I can tell everything else checks out like the RAM and GPU etc..
I bought a fish finder.
Actually DL isolating the bad sectors is a good idea. I assumed it does this automatically but it is an old drive, hmmm. Maybe I'll try that tomorrow. Even if it screws up what I've installed so far it doesn't matter.
