In winter if it gets down to -3-5c locally people are all "God it's freezing" :wacko: But it isn't terribly cold.
I mean you get some frost around and maybe things like the dog's water bucket will get a sheet of thin ice but nothing crazy.
Well I guess black ice is crazy :thot: But as long as you're aware that it's around you should be ok, inexperienced drivers can be caught out by it and probably drunk/drugged drivers too.

Got my first ticket today. Speeding ticket. Going 45 in a 35...Thankful he dropped it down to a 40 in a 35 so I have less to pay for...But still, $87 is a LOT to pay for.

Yeah the fires are bad right now.

On average it gets just as cold here in the winter. It can get much worse in Southern Ontario where I used to live. Much worse.

Vancouver is weird though :P

Automatic licence suspension here if you do 25 over, or 130 in a 110 zone (which is the max speed on freeways). You also get a conviction for excessive speed.
You were 16 over which is substantial. $87us isn't excessive, if you go 10 over braking distance is increased rather dramatically even in perfect conditions.

Yeah I didn't even think I was speeding. He was behind the 45mph sign which kinda sucked. But he wrote it down as 40mph in a 35 thank God. It's not an excessively expensive ticket but still, for my first ticket it's a big blow to me. Hopefully it doesn't affect my insurance.

My first run I was attacked by 2 ai opponents at the same time under 100 turns. Came at me with about 20 units to my 2 :lol

I just quit and started a new one after that. You should grab the proper large earth map. Great stuff.

I only had about 3 units I think when they attacked, I went and bought a few more and then trampled their poor ass. :lol
