So, the supervisor said she had to contact the Hardware department to cancel the other repair order, then they will call me back to start the new one and take the CC number to pay for it.

Ya know, I hope my son gave them our phone number earlier, because I know I didn't.

I thought you get like a 3 year one now? I remember them extending it even further because I ended up getting a refund check.

I thought so too, but I didn't buy my son's 360 new, so I have no idea how old it actually is. We've had it for a year and a half.

Er. Look on the bottom of the console to find out the manufacture date. That'll tell you how old the unit is.

I already know w hat's wrong with his 360. He plays it for HOURS on end without shutting it off. I mean, it is literally on from the time he gets his homework done (4:00-ish) will I go to bed at 12-1:00, every single night.

He has burned up 4 of those external cooling fans, and this one is already groaning.

I hesitate to offer to let him use my 360 till his gets back.

lol crazy son of a bitch. I'd use it for 2-4 hours at a time then leave it to cool down. Bitches generate a lot of heat.

go to sears and get a 360 with the mra, free exchange within 2 years, unlimited iirc.

Same here. And I threw a mini-fit when he wanted to play CoD4 with his friend using my 360. I let them, but I made sure to run them off every 2 hours or so. I refuse to turn my system on and have it squall at me because the fan is fried.

Also, 30+ hours straight on my old 360. It broke, but that obviously had nothing to do with it.
