not gonna try to solve the puzzle mr DR?
Every news station that seems to think "truth" and "objectivity" are complete idiocy. I realise pure unbiased news is practically impossible, but there are channels that just don't give a damn.
Actually, no. I am not. Mostly because, with the rules you have set, the puzzle actually has no possible solution. I've tried any number of solutions before looking into matters more analytically. A continuous line that enters and leaves one of the rectangular rooms must of necessity cross two walls. Since the three bigger rooms have each an odd number of walls to be crossed, it follows that an end of a line must be inside each if all the 16 walls are crossed. But a continuous line has only two ends, so the puzzle is insoluble.
*OOC Note: Yes, I as Lasharus stole this solution from a website where I found the solution. Dr. Robotnik is the genius here, not me. For all intents and purposes though, Robotnik came up with this one himself, so HAH!*
the fact that there is NO solution is the solution, congrats lol
Hmmm How do you know this?:top:Quote:
Amy would do the same. Mind you, she'd also probably chain him to his bed so she can finally force him to stick around her. Again, that girl worries me.
Under what circumstances would you give me a laser cannon with a removable rocket launcher?
I hope you dont mind me asking but, why are your eye brows so big? they look like they could catch a fair bit of air, do they cause a problem on windy days?
Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week. And probably next week. And the week after that. I need a new plot...
- I don't. I merely suspect, and desire no investigation.
- When there is no possibility whatsoever that a weapon of such power could threaten me.
- Well, they're not eyebrows. They're usually made of hair. But for lack of a better term, my eye ridges aren't THAT massive, are they? At any rate, no, they do not cause wind resistance.
do you have a favorite cartoon?
I'll think of more later.
have you or do you plan on stealing Christmas?
as a doctor are you capable of diagnosing mental health problems?
how do you feel about kids?
do you like turkey?
have you ever been involved in politics?(I feel like I asked that one before)
What do you plan on getting each EP member for Christmas?
Do you in tend on lowering taxes when/if you get in power?
Whats your favorite movie?
whos the fairest of them all?
- Some of my counterparts have attempted that. I still haven't quite gotten over just how mindbogglingly stupid the very concept is. No, I have not and do not plan on doing this.
- I'm a genius doctor, not a medical doctor. Being a genius though, yes. Yes I can. I, for example, am completely sane.
COMPLETELY.
- Fine, as long as they stay away from me.
- I'm interested in earth as a whole, not just any country in it, really. (Yay for interstellar ambitions! Yes, so I changed my mind there. Consistency is the defense of a small mind.)
- Technically, I always have been, ever since I started trying to take over the world and oust all standing political systems and replace them. With ME.
- A new government!
- Plotting on taking all your money will take place after my inevitable conquest, but technically speaking you won't pay any taxes. Everything will be mine by rights anyway.
- I present you with a short film made by one of my... colleagues. While, regrettably, his ambitions clash rather violently with mine, they are also quite similar to mine.
I give you... DOCTOR STEEL.

Still, if I have to lose, losing out to him could be the best-case-worst-case-ever-scenario.
Hah, who'm I kidding? He's going DOWN!
Apparently some princess bint who got banished from some castle somewhere.
Yes, I realise she's a fairytale bint. Do I LOOK like a mirror to you?
Can I get you an Xmas Gift
And Me?
if violence is never the answer whats the answer to the question "what is never the answer?"
more or less asking the doctor to solve a paradox
ah your answers gave me a good laugh.:lol
do you like solving puzzles?
who do you predict will ask another question after me?
do you ever give your robots names and not just numbers?
day or night?
if a tree falls in the forest and no one is around does it make a sound?
Who are you talking to? I'm the doctor, I'd expect you to reference to me as "you" here. All the same, yes you asked me to solve a paradox. Given their unsoluble nature, I gave as close an approximation to an answer as would be coherently possible. A spirited attempt to catch me out, to be sure, but not today, sorry. Your line-puzzle was more successful.
Always happy to oblige. Now, to your questions.
- Sometimes. It's a good way to keep the mind active. However, if I'm working on my next scheme, I'd rather be solving the puzzle of how to work out the power source for my latest creation than the puzzle posed by random people. No offense, of course, and I will still attempt to solve these puzzles. I'll just rush them, and possibly make mistakes.
- Given the people posting at the moment, it'd be either Jack Spicer, Kouen, or you again. Still, new or returning posters are always welcome. Spread the word!
- Yep. Metal Sonic is an example. So is 5A-55. It might've been his serial number to start with, but the name "Sass" was given to him, given that it fits, and works well with the little guy. Most of them will have numbers though. Individualising all my bots is nigh impossible.
- Huh?
- Naturally. You pose that the tree would fall in the forest, thus there will always be life-forms around able to perceive the sound in some way or another. If these lifeforms were also not around, the forest would not exist as it would not possibly be able to sustain itself, also making the existence of the falling tree an utter impossibility. Therefore, yes, a tree falling in the forest will always make a sound, because there will always be someone around to hear it.
Philosophy is nice and all, but silly questions are silly, whether philosophical or not. I figured that one out in minutes.
*OOC Note: I as Lasharus actually stole this explanation from a fantasy series I read quite some time ago. If you can name it, you may have a cookie*
You know the signs on restaurant doors? No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service? what if someone goes in with No Pants? Would the restaurant still have to serve them?
This question is actually one of the reasons I want to take over the world. Stop rules-lawyering the world to death and bloody use common sense for once you bloody stupid sods that inhabit this bloody stupid PLANET!
And no, the restaurant would not have to serve them. Let us call it an implied dresscode. No shirt/shoes is something that can occur, but is a special rule that needs enforcing. No pants is something that SHOULD NOT occur, and as such doesn't need to be separately mentioned unless people decide to mindlessly screech "IT NOT IN RULES HUR DUR I R GENIUS!"
"Yes, that's nice. You're also not wearing any pants, now GET OUT OF MY RESTAURANT!"
How do you find the time for all your plans and still run this thread?
Even a master scientist needs his breaks. My plots can be set in motion at any time when they're finished, and I'm currently between schemes. Given that, I take enough breaks to keep my mind in peak condition. Answering questions here as a result is a nice form of relaxation.
Would you have already taken over the world if Sonic was never created/born?
would sonic be easy to defeat if he were a groundhog?
if on February second sonic sees his shadow does that mean we'll have 8 more weeks of winter?
I very much doubt it. It's not his uniquely Hedgehog-like attributes that makes him such a thorn in my side. It's his blasted speed. Okay, so he'd lack his spines as a groundhog, but he'd probably devise some other way to use his speed to scuttle my plans.
Well, no. Sonic isn't a groundhog, he's a hedgehog. Despite the previous question.
more questions inbound.
do you have a religion?
would you use your genius to save to world from destruction if it meant giving up your own life?
is it better to be good or evil?
do you think nintendo will end up like sega?
- Nope. I'm not going to get into a debate on religion either. You thought some of my deathtraps could get nasty? Try a discussion on the comparative benefits of religion on any forum anywhere.
- Not a question I can answer right off the bat. I can take the moral high ground and say "YES!" but these kinds of decisions are rarely subject to true logic, and often part of the situation at hand. I would like to think I would though. I don't like the world's inhabitants, but I do care for the world as such.
- Comparative morality is a difficult thing. I'm technically evil at present, so obviously evil wins.
Well that depends on what you mean. Do you mean "no more consoles, just a game producer"? If so, not as it stands, no. Nintendo will probably strive to hold on to their position in the console market as is.
do you know of any odd words that can be twisted such as Pschotherapist = Psycho the Rapist?
Quite a few terms come to mind, but precious few of them suited for polite company. After all, people being what they are, the first thing they'll try to find ambiguity in is innuendo. Sadly, if one trawls the internet, one finds many such terms.
*OOC Note: The rest of this is OOC. Robotnik isn't exactly from Earth, so it's a bit tricky to answer this with these websites, but I want to share it anyway, simply for amusement value :P
A few website-names come to mind.
There was agentsexchange. A site containing information about whose agent to contact if you needed to speak to a particular person. Another one was a store specialising in high quality pens: penisland. And of course, one of the more famous examples, apparently there was a power company over in Italy which for a short time had the domainname "powergenitalia"
Well done them. Twits.
OOC END*
THOSE are EPIC
If it came down to a all out bar-room style brawl between dark sonic and Knuckles-who would you put a bet on?
If you had to pick a job what would it be?
Dark Sonic has displayed the inherently superior abilities, despite his incredibly short appearance. However, there simply isn't enough data available to make an accurate prediction at this point. If the whole "Dark Sonic" thing lasts as long as has been observed, it essentially means Knuckles just has to outlast the Hedgehog for about 20 seconds, and it'll be back to a far fairer footing. At this point, the question remains inconclusive. If Dark Sonic can retain that form, Knuckles is toast. Otherwise, it's harder to say.
Obviously, Engineer.
Have you played Grandia?

What's your take on the white gloves outfit scheme?
