If you’ve ever used the Equivalent Exchange (EE) mod for Minecraft before then you will already have a good idea how the Exchange Orb mod works. Basically you can make an item, the exchange orb, using a number of other valuable items (coal, iron and gold ingots, diamonds, etc.). By combining this exchange orb with other items, you can convert them into completely different items. For example, by mixing an exchange orb with a couple of diamonds, you can turn them into a single emerald. Most of the exchanges also work in reverse, allowing you to get a greater number of lesser items.
