Both the E and U versions of the game load up without a problem for me... I suspect a faulty ROM or failed download.

Edit: Here's my ROM, I'm quite sure nothing's wrong with it. If this doesn't work, try another version of ZSNES or something.

DooM for SNES sucks ... badly grab either the 32X version (May not run as it needs a goodish PC to run) or grab the GBA version

SNES DooM was just the worst port of that game, though I spose if you are an old doomer then it has a good challenge with unresponsive controls and bad stick on wall problems throughout

32X was very nice but has less levels to the original if I remember corectly

PSX DooM was ok aswell as Saturn DooM (both are much the same with the odd custom PSX only levels) (Saturn may have had Saturn only levels but I don't rememebr)

N64 DooM wasn't realy a port but all new levels with new GFX.

GBA looks to be good though I can't claim to have played it that much (beter than SNES though even from the very small amount I did play)

There are also tons of home made ports aswell, some I like beter than the official versions

Zorlon, the GBA version of Doom sucks too. But yeah, I think it's because of the emu... So try it with the latest version of ZSNES:

    Digimon World: Digital Card Battle
    NTSC/U, Playstation game

SNES DooM sucked on the actual machine (trust me I owned it) even wolfenstien on SNES plays beter and thats not great either

I'm not just talking about through emulation for Wolfenstien either I owned that aswell, being one of those sad DooM fans and all DooM type games of that time and before, I did love those games just not on SNES, the only advantage like I said was the dificulty because of bad controls and a bad stick on wall problem, even back then it was hard for me after owning the original PC version ever since day one aswell as a few of the games before DooM like Catacomb 3D and mastered them.

I'm not so much into the newer FPS games though but I still go back to DooM from time to time (never on SNES though).

A bit off topic I love the Saturn and I love DOOM but for gods sake don't ever play DOOM on the Saturn, the PSX got a very good version though

Snes DOOM wow what can I say it runs on like a quad screen setup, the frame rate would have to be around the 15'ish when doing nothing and could drop to like 5-10 when doing anything else. Still its fun to see it on a machine that's not suposed to run it that's for sure.

The PC specs need like a 66Mhz Processor or something and quite a bit or ram 8MB? compared to the Snes CPU of like 4mhz and with the Snes's limited ram I'm sure most everything was being streamed of the cart.

EDIT: and this was on a PAL machine so like everything ran 17% slower than the NTSC vers and was more squashed
