Having a problem w/ Chanka

I have a problem when trying to load Chanka...I get an error saying:

The procedure entry point DdEntry10 could not be located in the dynamic link library DDRAW.dll

Help plz

Try updating your DirectX. Sounds like a DirectDraw error. Oh and get the latest drivers for your video card too. It might not sound like much, but it's what fixed Chankast for me

aha...that worked like a charm, however now I will get halfway into loading the game and it will say I/O error. Help?

Use Daemon Tools version 3.29 to mount your image file. And get over to Emutalk and read the stickied Chankast FAQ (in the Chankast forum) that Psyman has made. It has the answers to all these types of probs.

Thanks, I check it out...although I keep seeing the same thing and it doesnt seem to solve my problem. I also don't feel like signing up for the website considering I probably wont use it again. I feel more compterable here and get great answeres that solve my problem so if it's okay I would like to stay here . Anyway, I keep seeing that I have to mount the image on a drive...the problem is that I only have the games on CDs...does this mean I have to redownload every game I downloaded

Erm, you don't have to sign up to Emutalk in order to read the FAQ - by reading it, it also saves people from wasting your time, and their own time.

If you have the games on original DC GDroms then you can't play them on the PC... if they are on normal CDs then you can rip them using a ripping prog.

Also note that Chankast reads only Selfboots and will only read noneboots with the aid of Utopia Boot CD (Utopia does not work for everyone though)
