    Because I totally didn't.

    My head is still pounding, though. Definitely gonna be a lazy day today. Which sucks, 'cause I wanted to get some errands done.
    I've missed the last 2 days of work. I woke up with a fever of 102.5, so the wife made me to go the hospital. They confirmed I have the flu, and prescribed Tamiflu, which is $120 for 10 pills. (Yeah, right ) and Lortabs, for some reason I haven't figured out yet.

    I'll stick with my NyQuil and sleep it off.

    I stuck with orange juice, Dayquil and naps, and I feel much better.

    Fuck prescriptions. Pretty much every time I get sick I just hole myself up in my apartment and ride it out.

    I feel sweaty, gross and disgusting by the end of it, but my wallet thanks me.

    Things are expensive everywhere.
    In South Africa, things are unbelievably expensive.
    Don't know about the rest of SA but in my hometown, cold medicine is R200.
    It'll keep on getting expensive too, since electricity prices are going up by 16% (per year, if I remember correctly) until 2018.
    Americans get things pretty much cheaper than South Africans by the looks of things.

    According to the XE Universal Currency Converter, conversions from Rand to American Dollars and vice versa:

    R 200.00 = $ 22.1248
    R 120.00 = $ 13.2600
    R 1.00 = $ 0.110500

    $ 1.00 = R 9.04667
    $ 120.00 = R 1,085.18
    $ 200.00 = R 1,808.64

    ...

    NO WAY.
    I guess this definitely means South Africa is one of the worst countries to be in, I guess

    Convert an Aussie dollar to your currency.

    I suspect Tamiflu isn't worth how much it costs (going by Sprung's price).
    I had to take some a couple of years back, I don't think it's a wonder drug or anything.
    Plenty of knowledgeable people have questioned the validity of the manufacturers claims, and last time I read about it not all of the trial data had been released for scrutiny. And I mean everywhere (US/Europe/etc).

    THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
    If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.
