    NullDC or Chankast.

    Never really used them personally.

NAOMI version is not a Dreamcast emu so just get the plain NullDC version, not the NAOMI version that is an Arcade emu

The Dreamcast was based on the Arcade system NAOMI so NullDC has 2 emulators one that just emulates the Dreamcast console, the other just emulates the NAOMI arcade system

Like above I own a couple of Dreamcasts and never looked back at the emulators well only for testing when hacking, but thats not the same as playing also not all games are playable in NullDC or any Dreamcast emulator

You should google around for NullDC 104 r136, it's the latest beta version of the emulator but it runs games really well.

I own a Dreamcast, but I prefer Nulldc, with the greatly enhanced visuals, dreamcast controller plugged into a trio linker plus adapter, the only feature I might miss is the jump pack...but meh. With so many consoles, and so little space, Nulldc helps save precious space. It's also nice to save on disc swapping time. However, there are a number of games where the real Dreamcast is the only option, so it might depend for some people.

Personly I use VGA anyway so enhanced.. not greatly

Disc swops.. for me all my games are self boot that involves no swops at all, though there are a couple of multi disc rips (very few) but most are on a single disc or had been originally on multi discs to start with

Space saver I realy do agree but as you said some games will have issues/won't work at all

NullDC is a good emulator, Demul is a decent alternative.
