But, in my opinion they're right up there with square-enix for making great RPGs.

I consider this an insult to Atlus with SE's recent track record.

BTW, they don't make many games as you would think but just bring them to the states, like Luminous Arc or even the first Disgaea before NiS could do it themselves, even inserted an extra song into the game:
