    Default Sound problems with JNES

I'm using the latest version of Jnes, and I'm running into an issue with the sound.
I can play any NES game with the sound of, but when the sound is on, the game slows way down to a crawl.

I can't even play Super Mario Bros 3 with the sound on.
    What can I do?

Try another emulator there are tons of NES emulators around

or send your settings ini file if that emulator uses one so we can have a proper look at your settings, but so far you have given us nothing to work on

P.S. SMB3 was remade for the SNES in the collection along with the original SMB SMB2 and the jap version of SMB2 that is a totally different game, listed as Lost Levels all the same games but improved visuals over the original NES version

SMB3 was also later released on GBA and Wii

Can you provide any information about the system you're running this on?

It might be that the sound encoding that you're asking the emulator to use is slow or not properly supported by your hardware.

Nestopia is by far the king of NES emulators , its on android I believe too.
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

    Windows 10 Pro x64 Bit
    4GB DDR2 Ram
    250 GB Hard Drive

This program is more than capable to run Jnes. It's done so in the past before, and on previous OS'es (Windows 8 and 7).
