Good copy of landstalker?

First off if this is in the wrong section feel free to move it, i wasn't entirely sure where to post this. Basically after doing some digging around on this game it seems that some of the copies of it out there have some kind of fatal glitch or another in them that keep you from finishing the game. Does anyone know if the copy on the main site has any problems like that? I'd hate to wind up grabbing it playing half the game and suddenly find out it was a bad copy.

sounds more like an emulation issue rather than a bad copy

the copy on the main site is good though

Avoid the Good Genesis set though

I'm sure I played both regions but my first play through was the European copy with the full name Landstalker - The Treasures of King Nole

The roms are perfect as they are from the no-intro set and are verified by the crc checks


Played through Landstalker a few times myself without issue both with Gens when it was the best Genesis emu and with Kega Fusion the previous version to the latest build (3.63) the latest build does have issues though only noticed any with Sega CD games

P.S. if the emulator in question used does not recognise the .md format just rename the file extension to .bin

Kega Fusion runs the game fine just done a quick test with the USA copy, no need to rename the rom and this was done in version 3.64, tested to in-game

You may of just had a failed download though not that likely with it only being a 1.4MB download apx
