What do you want to see on our forum?

I am calling this a brave question as there will be ideas that we will not be able to implement

At the moment we have steady activity in some sections but not all and would like to get more involved in those sections, in doing so add more activity in general

So we are asking what do you think could be added or even removed to make this the place to go and stay?

I think it is important that everyone can get involved in this not just staff members.

Yeah, we should no doubt make it hidden and then just whip it out if we want to use it again. Sort of like how we keep Ray's wang locked up nowadays.

Yeah. I spent some time there. Had the high score for Frogger. Me and Tan fought over it for some time.

Are there still security issues or whatever it was with having it? People would definitely use it.

I guess one way to help the site is maybe try to get people wanting to play online with other members?

Playing competitively is always fun, I'm going to try posting a short and sweet guide on getting PPSSPP online but my composition skills kind of.......suck.

I'll throw my support behind the arcade being brought back and a massive clean up of the uploads section. I'd also say that theres some threads in the console/emulation forums that could get merged or pruned.

More people/exposure in the Let's Play section could help, if a community for LPers is the sort of thing you'd want the forum to be known for.

Masterlists are generated automatically (every hour or something like that I believe) so only the dead threads need to be removed for the lists to be updated.

The whole dead links still in the uploads section to be removed is all well and good as long as they are reported as being dead so we know to remove them

a general clean up is needed though part to prevent multi places to post the same thing and partly just to make it easier to find what is wanted as far as general users go

what about new content? any ideas there

You still see a lot of dead links claims when it is other issues and the downloads aren't actually dead.
High server load/lack of download slots for free downloaders, people in certain parts of the world can't use particular hosts, etc.

Plenty of the obvious dead stuff was removed around the time the lists went auto (mostly old megaupload shares but also some others like filesonic).
The music section and some of the massive sections (PSX/PS2) would still probably have a fair bit of dead wood.
