Suikoden 3 Question (confused) :S

When i downloaded Suikoden 3 ISO from emuparadise.me and extracted it, i was confused when i saw it with another .zip file.



Its not a .iso file :O

And when i compare it on what is inside on my other .iso game file, it has similarities.




Questions :

1. Do i have to make the Suikoden3.zip into Suikoden3.iso?

2. What Should I DO?

3. Im really a newbie here, so feel free to tell me where to post this post if this topic is not suited in this area

@zorlon - sir, i tried playing suikoden and i loved it , im now at suikoden II and im trying to download Suikoden III for ps2. Then my next problem is, i cant find any ISO file of Suikoden 3, i always find a .zip file of it please help.

Just use www.7-zip.org to extract instead or drag the iso file out of the first screen shot

You can play with the settings for winrar and take *.iso off the list files associated with it, but 7-zip is worth getting anyway as it covers more extraction formats

And a big LOL at your screen shot of the iso file you can't find

The 2nd window in the first pic is showing the contents of the iso file. To get the iso file, go to Winrar, Options, Settings, Integration tab, make sure iso file isn't checked and accept. Now extract the image file to wherever you want.

I used 7-zip just Zorlon said, and it extracted the .iso file

P.S. Suikoden III can use the save from Suikoden II just like Suikoden II can use the save from Suikoden. It is only the 5th game that lacks the save feature

yah i know that sir, but my dilemma now is that I cant use my save file on suikoden II

Or I dont know how to use my suikoden II save file to be used on suikoden III

Put the PSX memcard in the PS2 and copy the save to the PS2 memcard

then start Suikoden III (Suikoden III can not read a PSX memcard)

As simple as that good job I remembered

I don't remember the exact options in the actual game but I'm sure it is obvious

you are moving PC files

That will not suddenly make the save move from a PSone memcard to the PS2 memcard you don't even have the PSone memcard hooked up to copy the save over to the PS2 memcard/s

What I ment was hook the PSone memcard to the PS2 as well as the PS2 memcard, then you boot to the bios and use that to copy the save file over I forgot you are emulating this though, then I am not sure how to go about doing that, if pcsx2 does not support PSone memcards

P.S. upload your PSX memcard + PS2 memcard files and I will try and figure it for you/do that for you


I can possibly do this for you using real hardware as I still own a PS2 that works and use a couple of memcard editors and FTP &/or USB to/from my PS2 I will look into that more once I have your memcard files

Thank you very much sir for that kind reply. I know now how to Import PSXsaveFile-Ps2MemCards. *sigh* I cant import my own data because of the wrong save game. So i just download someones save file from google.

It makes me sad that I cant use my data on Suikoden & Suikoden II
