slows down + bad graphics? PS2 emulation

Hi all out there first of all thanks for the big choice here on your website, it was a big joy to me and my gf to check out the good PS2 games and download 'em

but on most games the emulator runs to slow, for example FIFA12 the commentary sounds a bit tipsy because the sound turns really in slow-motion sometimes and the graphics are all the time like this:



i hope to goodness you guys can tell me how to handle this!

We need to know your system specs and your PCSX2 settings in order to help you with your speed issues.

The graphical errors in FIFA12 are known bugs and the only way to fix them is to use software rendering (press F9 to go into software mode).

My System: Windows 7 64bit, AMD Athlon II X4 640 Processor 3.00 GHZ (4CPU > 12GHZ), Nividia Geforce GT 240, 8 GB DDR RAM, Asus Xonar DG Audio

What kind of Information do you need from my PCSX2? Its Version 1.0.0., Bios is Europe v2.0.00, GS: GSdx 5334 (MSVC 16.00, SSE2) 0.1.16, ( i have 8 Plugins for GS, this is the only working)

Edit: F9 rendering helped me so far to get the red lines away and the quality looks good, but than the game is 5x slower than normal

Next Edit: Tried now 1.1.0.5622 (svn) APR 27 2013 Version.. but still same Problems!

Your processor needs to have the MTVU hack enabled in order to use more than half of its cores. You shoud also set your coputer power plan to "High performance".

The reason why pressing F9 to go into software mode decreassed the speed is because software rendering does not use your graphics card, it only uses your processor.
I'm afraid with this game in particular you may need to decide between having decent graphics or decent speed, sorry.

okay there will be no problem if i have to skip Fifa12, there are also other games but from 10 games i downloaded yet only 3 working without problems

could you tell me how to insert the MTVU Hack and set my computer to the power plan high performance?

Fifa 12 as with most Fifa games is on several platforms

PSP emulated or soft mod a real one
PS2 emulated or soft mod/mod chip a real one
PS3 real one only (some can be modded but you may get banned from online use)
PC It goes under warez so no talk of downloading this or running issues here, just buy it, but check system requirements first
3DS real one only, there are no known working 3DS flash kits (one may be on it's way)
Wii emulated or soft mod/mod chip a real one
360 real one only (some can be modded but you may get banned from online use)
