    Default Tekken 3 Stutter??

    Hi All,

I'm an EPSXE newb, but I've read as much as I could get my hands on before posting this question.

I'm running 1.7 on my system with the following specs:

    A75M Motherboard
    A8-3850 (w/ built in Radeon HD 6550D)
    4GB RAM

Everything seems to work fine, using Pete's D3D Driver 1.1.77, however, I am noticing very brief "stutters" every so often -- most noticeable when playing Tekken 3.

They usually occur after defeating 3-4 opponents in Arcade Mode.

The screen stutters for a second, with not much of a noticeable audio hiccup.

    Here are my plugin settings:

I've tried using different emulators, but they seem to have the same problem too...

Any tips would be very, very appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Owen

Thats a rather messed up res for PSX games try 1280x960 (thats twice the normal res for PSX) [that alone may fix it I don't know for your hardware]

You might want to check out the OpenGL plugin aswell by Pete (settings will look the same)

The lags are most like to do with the Compatibility section of your vid setup

Try disabling features and test as you go

Advanced blending could maybe be chaged aswell

If you do not already it is best to mount CD images with D-Tools lite and run games from the Run CD-Rom option instead of run iso (you would need to config the CD-Plugin correctly to look for the correct drive)

Anytime I use OpenGL2 2.9, no matter what resolution I choose, the picture doesn't fit my screen...

How can I fix that and use OpenGL2 2.9?

    Thanks!!

    Just use OpenGL

There is no need to try and use OpenGL2

If thats your flavor to have the screen stretched then so be it make sure fix aspect ratio is set to off then, might be matain aspect ratio I forget
