Question on N64 ROMs

I have a question on the Nintendo 64 ROM section:

Some of the ROMs like Turok, 007Golden Eye or Perfekt Dark are Named with Endings like Rev A or Rev B. Please can someone explain me is meant by that.?

I just want to know why some of the N64 ROMs are called Rev A or Rev B.

If the game had some bugs and was a hit game, they will release what is called a revision (or Rev), to fix such problems. Things may get added into the game that werent there before, or things may be removed. A would mean it's the first revision. B meaning the second.

So does it make more sense to grab a ROM of a revisioned version which is fixed than to get one without any revision?

For example does it make more sense to get the N64 ROM of perfekt dark with Rev A than without Rev A?

Yes as the first release would not of been revised as it's the first release so will not be labled Rev A

Mind that some bugs are fun though and can be used to exploit a game to gain things or see things you are not realy supposed to, depends on what bugs the games had
