Pcsx worked great on my imac just google the latest version as for pcsx2 i never had much luck i only ever tried kingdom hearts on it though.
To run an iso your prolly gunna need unecm which is hard to find for the mac. Go to my other thread and get that there

I wish i could get you the rest of the utilities i was using like an iso- bin+cue converter but my kids destroyed my imac so for the moment i am computerless

Btw being vague is really the absolute worst way to seek help here if you can change tje thread title to somthing like "need help running pcsx/2 on mac" just a suggestion. Also you never said what you need help with

Pcsx is a poor emulator.. always has been but the few games that work ok do work and look nice, just don't exspect that with every game, infact very few games will run ok

unless I'm missing something and there has been 3rd party work done to PCSX then it hasn't been updated in years and is still the version I tested way back

older macs had a beter PSX emu atleast compat wise called Connetix Virtual Game Station or VGS/CVGS for short, but this only work on OS9 and OS9 compat mode on OSX last I checked failed for this (VGS was removed long back because sony had em done in or something like that, the demo is still floating round but the full version... pfft not seen it for the mac, only the PC version, that will also only work well on older OS versions)

Pcsx2 has a nice guide over at http://pcsx2mac.net/guide/

I'm not even a mac user nower days, not had a mac for years , even if I did I guess I would still emulate on a PC more.. actually I do more emulating on other consoles more than PC, but thats just the way emulation has gone over the years, alot of them have been ported to console and done very well at that.

to be honest for PS2 buying a PS2 and soft modding it is still the best option, even on PC there are compat issues with some games, even when they do work you are required to have certain setting for some games also you require a rather high end spec machine to emulate PS2 aswell

The best psx emulator for mac is pcsxr v 1.9.92. It runs great, and is very easy to configure.
