The best advice you will get is buy a PSP and hack it

JPCSP is slow even on the most powerfull of machines

The emu just isn't all that fast yet

You can also play Harvest Moon: Back to Nature on the PSX via ePSXe or pSX if you can't figure out ePSXe that is the same game, the only difference is you get to choose between boy or girl in the PSP version

It's not that bad anymore, Zorlon.

@OP: Get the latest version of the emulator. You can find the links in the JPCSP sticky thread in this section.

Also, always post your PC specs when you create a thread like this so we know whether or not you can run the emulator. The game runs full speed on my end, so I'm guessing the problem is your PC. One thing you can try is ticking "Enable saving GE screen to Textures instead of Memory", there should be an option like that in the latest versions of JPCSP.

Thank you for not attacking me for being a lil out of date

    Also thanks for the update.

I don't mind being wrong or corrected but some take that opp to attack me as if I should be up to date with everything and automaticly know about everything....

Eh, people can be mean for all sorts of stupid reasons, I guess. I wouldn't worry about them too much. You're only human, after all.

Get it from there. I was using 2298, although that's not the latest one anymore.

That's what I've just said, yes.

Other than that, in Options/Configuration, under the Video tab, I have these checked:

    -Use shaders
-Use a Geometry Shader for 2D rendering
    -Disable UBO
-Enable saving GE screen to texture
    -Enable decoding of indexed textures
    -Enable dynamic shader generation

    Media:
    -Use Media Engine
-Decode Audio files using SonicStage (you have to install SonicStage for this. Just Google it.)

    Everything else on default settings.

Also, you haven't posted your PC specs yet. Maybe your PC is just not good enough for PSP emulation. In that case, we could've avoided this whole discussion.

    Does that make it faster?

Yes, it might make it faster. But it's not guaranteed. See, unless we know what kind of PC you have, it's hard to tell. If you're running the emulator on a slow PC, it'll never get faster, no matter how much tinkering you do with the settings. That's why I've been asking you to post your specs for several times now.

Ah, SonicStage is just for the audio. It will not make the game faster. As I've said on your profile page, if it's still slow after all that, it'll probably not get any faster.

@Miles Edgeworth... as u told, jpcsp has improved from its previous versions. But the thing in which it lacks is the compatibility of games. A very few games are fully playable on jpcsp, even in the latest version. Also some games run very slow even on high pc's like Dragon ball Z Shin budokai.

As this is not for all games or even a few games I think your statment is a lil out of place
