Default I need serious help (Pokemon on PSP)

OK. I have a PSP 3000, the official firmware is 6.39, and I refuse to hack or put custom firmware on it. I want a gameboy game (pokemon [any kind of pokemon will be fine with me]) and get it to work on my psp.

If I must: can someone give me some in-depth info on how to hack my psp?

    Your loss.
You need to hack it to play GBA or GB games on it.

Serious mental help 1 for wanting to play Pokemon (actually not bad RPG's) 2 not wanting a modded PSP to play any emulator you want without hassle and any PSP game

Your choice though for whatever reasons you have...

Anyway you need to patch the emu into think it's downloaded from the online PSP shop this is called Signing

Just read this, it's just about signing, though I imagine there will be a couple of posts about modding the PSP, but I'm sure you can skip past those

HBL is another option for you

There's a signed homebrew enabler for ofw called HalfByte-Loader. I used it before I got Custom Firmware, so I can vouch for it. You can play most homebrew on it, but definitely not all of it. Anyway, just google, "Signed HalfByte-Loader."

I believe it's linked in the link I just gave along with how to sign the emulators so no need for HBL up to the OP though I guess, I did offer both options though

I did wonder if it actually worked or not though as I hacked my PSP on the day I got my 2003 model and didn't have the 1003 model very long before I hacked that one, so not had the need of HBL or any intention of un modding a PSP just to try it

If it's a case of thinking the PSP 3000 has not been hacked yet, well it has been for a while now and the latest firmware was also cracked, but again if this is not wanted, well it's not wanted

DoomKefka please don't darken Everything Emulation with your spam.

This is not open for this sort of pointless flame, in a help thread.

I have removed your post and I don't expect a reply to this post either.

I'm still surprised someone still suggesting HBL, that is way too old, plus, there only few homebrew that can run on it.

Well, anyway, a GBA emulator, called gPSP was signed months ago, so yeah you can play it directly with OFW.

However still, its better for you to use CFW to emulate these things, since you can gain more benefits from using it.
