Hello all, I have soft modded my original xbox and installed evox as my dash, I have also installed a big hard drive and have had no problems so far.

I read a lot of forums and see lots of people are using xbox media center. I have no knowledge of this software and was wondering if it is really as good as everyone says.

Is it a replacement for evox like a new dash? And would it be easy for me to install onto my box?

I would be intrested to read peoples opinions who have used media center. Is it much better than using evox? Thanks everyone.

To be honest XBMC is probably the best original Xbox dashboard, but if you aren't going to be playing loads of AVI/MP3s and stuff through your Xbox you're probably better off just sticking with EvoX.

I am only playing games on the xbox, I got my pc for movies and emulators so I think I`ll stick with evox, thanks Inferno.

To be honest if you like evox and the way it works stick to it

I love XBMC myself but it just the gui thats that much different not the compat, it's just sexier
