here is a link to a website that sell them, you can get installation instructions from them but if you still have a old ps2 i would recomend you get something called FMCB installed onto it this will allow you to play all your old ps1 games that you wish to download aswell as ps2 games but its your choice if you want more information on FMCB click here this site offers a free installation service the link to which can be found here

Well the PS2 mod is a software mod, though it allows PAL booting only last I looked, not sure if boot sector patching would help...

Yet to bother ot be honest

A mod chip on a PSone can be a little tricky to install if your not used to soldering, I be one of those that are not that great at soldering but I just got someone else to solder it for me

Also if you have a cheat CD (Not all work though, think the Codebreaker/Xploder is what I have used in the past, but not 100% sure) for the PSone you can use that to play coppies by jamming the lid sensor on it (very easy to do)

There is also the option of playing PSX on an Xbox (soft mod) or the PSP (softmod)

All softmods do require extra equipment to install

PS2 has various install options (cheat cd's/home made (need retail 007) or retail swapmagic/a freind with a modchip or already exploided machine ect...)
PSP (special battery aka Pandora battery/Battery mod tool (100X to 200X models) or certain game for older PSP's with certain firmware [Model 100X only??]) (there are other exploits for later models but not looked into it)
XBOX one of 3 games and a xbox action replay memcard
PSone Modchip or Swop method with boot CD (none burned boot CD or cheat CD), console needs a CD lid sensor mod [There are other swop tricks but recomend not to unlike the boot CD Method the drive keeps going while you change CD's]

    xbox 1
xbox is great modded in general
Thats my xbox 1 booting in the vid (shameless showoff)

Actually not looked at emu's for 360

PSP you convert iso's to Eboot format and ran off of the memstrick pro duo
Xbox you can either ftp them over or burn them with the Playstation emulator onto a DVD (you may be able to burn CD's and play them with the emu running from the xbox but I have yet to look into that or try it)

sorry I added an edit explaining that, admitedly the last way on xbox is unknown by me (don't know if you can or can't have a normally burned PSX iso onto a CD played via the DVD drive) but you can run them off the HDD or DVD drive (DVD-R must have emu with it or have the emu already on the xbox hdd, the DVD can have lots of ISO images on it)

bin+cue is a universally acepted format for both xbox and psp, other image formats can be converted first though

You can only run emulators on a JTAG'd 360 and the chances are yours probably isn't JTAGable.
