Need Help to get The legend of Dragoon to play in my epsxe170

im trying to get the game to play and it does but it struggles a little at the title screen then it wont load the first battle at all seems great until that point. Ive been trying all the others video plugins with varying results some make it tiny in the corner others are to advanced for it i need help

depends on your computer specs if you have a laptop with intel integrated graphics I would recommend using pete's DX6 D3D plugin with ATI graphics cards pete's opengl under either 1 click on the check box beside special game fixes then click on the ... button and enable all fixes having to do with legend of the dragoon possibly abbreviated LoD.

If you post your specs we may be able to offer more help that is all I can suggest with the provided Info.

knightshade got it spot on, look at the special fixes. this amy even speed things up a bit

you can also try the software plugin yeah again by pete the guy is a god for PSX video plugins

sure i'll post my specs where do i see them i have a gateway desktop

right click (Computer [Vista/Win7])/(My Computer[XP or Older OS]) then hit properties (gfx card is often missing from there, thats gives you specs for CPU and Mem)

Divice Manager should tell you what gfx card you have

Include the OS

and i cant find the gfx under device manager nothing seems to say gfx or similar

P.S. is there not a huge sticker on the tower saying whats in it???? most pre-build systems do, it's mostly hand picked parts home built machines that wouldn't

P.P.S. your machine is more than capable, if you have a nice 3D gfx chip set all more capable it will be, meh had full speed PSX on an old PIII 450MB cpu 256MB Ram and a 3D Gfx card (G-Force FX - 256MB vid mem)
