    Default .SUB, .CCD, .CUE

Hello, When I downloaded a game the files that I got were .ECM a .CCD and a .SUB, I converted the ECM into a .BIN file so that PSX could run it but When I try to start the game it just says "cannot find .CUE file", which one do I convert to .CUE the .CCD one or the .SUB one and what do I do with the .CCD and .SUB, someone please help, Thanks.

How did you "convert" the ecm to bin? And you say, "so that PSX could run it" but a PSX is not going to tell you that. What emulator are you using?

The Emulater is called "PSX" is why I said "so that PSX could run it" but anyway, I think the program is called unecm or something like that but that has nothing to do with the .CUE problem, I downloaded a different game and had an .ECM file and a .CUE file with no .SUB and .CCD and used the unecm to convert the .ECM to .BIN and it worked. I just don't know what to do with these .SUB and .CCD files for this new game, since it won't run without a .CUE file.

go to here and grab your .CUE file for your game
below is what to do with your .CUE file

    Spoiler warning:

    Cue Missing
Dealing with games that have no cue or ccd file included.

Download Cue's and Sbi's and open with 7-zip

From there you can find the folder that matches your game, you are best off sorting by name in 7-zip.

Once you find the folder just double click it like you would with any other folder in that folder you should find the missing cue file and maybe an sbi file.

Drag and drop the cue file to the same folder the other game files are in.

    You can close 7-zip now.

Try running the game using the .ccd file.
If that doesn't work, you can use Daemon Tools to create a virtual cdrom drive for your .bin file. PSX should be able to run the game from that virtual drive just like you had the cd.

    Be afraid. Be very afraid.

You can trash the *.SUB if you like or keep it, up to you realy

Just mount the cd image via Daemon tools and point to the ccd file

a CCD file is basicly the same as a CUE file both tell the burning software/Virtual CD software (Daemon Tools Lite) what the structure of the *.bin or *.img is (ccd's tend to go with img files cue's with bin files but this is not always true, infact the main CD image file can have any ext.)

run you emu to read from the Daemon Tools Lite Virtual drive
