PRO Online ( PSP ad hoc games online )

Ad hoc online my friends!!!!

I'm new to PSP sorry if it's a well know place here. I made a search in the forum and nothing really appeared so I'm just posting here so ppl can try it! The more the merrier

Also I saw that this will be supported on PSP emulator so ppl can play online cross platform!

This is not a requirement to play online mode this is something different and not something I have looked at... yet.

I need to change my wireless router settings anyway as it happens as the PSP 2k at least does not support my current wireless setup (it's a new wireless router), though to be honest I am not all that bothered at the moment .

Judging though from who is actually using this it's not that popular but I do like the idea of emu users hooking up to console users, now that is a nice added extra

I don't think PSP has lot's of games with officially online mode(infrastructure mode for PSP I think) so I think this is great cause not everyone have lot's of friends that have a PSP to play in the same room using ad hoc. Yeah I'm a forever alone Got one that lost his job and needs to play desperately so if we can play online me in my PSP and he on the emulator I will be happy

The beauty of this project is that all games with ad hoc can be played online

when I have time I want to try Monster Hunter!!!!!

Most PSP's don't come with a memstick either :/, so you will just have to wait I guess

Sucks I hate getting new stuff that you can't use right away

Ad hoc is a great idea but it would need to be via organised games, otherwise you will be the only one there 90% of the time

You can do the same with a PS2 and Xbox for Network link up games (not to be confused with online modes), though again I never did test that and something I would like to do at some point, possibly more for Xbox than PS2

When I got the DS I bought and paid the DS and R4 at the same time and they arrived together! such happiness

Yeah you need to talk with ppl first. Maybe I will try to organize something here to test this Pro online stuff!

How would you do that for PS2? Do you need a program or something on PC? Not going to test that any time soon but it's nice to know

Tons of big link up games on the xbox, a fair few on the olde PS2 also but the xbox tends to kick the PS2 over, just the PS2 got more software in general for it leaving the poor olde xbox behind, P.S. I'm not a Halo fan that's not why I like the xbox

Nah as long you're happy Not sure why but my favorites will always be Sony and Nintendo S2
