Default Video of Officer Berating 14 year old

All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
and speak my point of view
    But its not sane..
I just want some one to say to me
Ill always be there when you wake
Ya know Id like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and Ill have it made
And I dont understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that theres no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away but its a great escape..
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain...

    He didn't "Berating" anyone.

The cop is a power hungry douche, but the kid is an idiot for even letting that fatass touch him. I'd be long gone flicking off his faggot ass.

Cops will take the skateboard if it's illegal in the area. Kid deserved it if he got caught.
My friend had that happen to him. He was too much of a pussy to run, while I ran away and kept mine. XD

    be·rate (b*-rāt') Pronunciation Key
    tr.v. be·rat·ed, be·rat·ing, be·rates
To rebuke or scold angrily and at length. See Synonyms at scold.

My grasp on English may not be the best, but I fail to see how I'm wrong on use of that term.

Anyways, I was hoping there'd be something more intellectual than "douche, faggot, fatass" which are incidentally the top three words I'd like to avoid and the top three words the video solicits from the majority of people.

This video surfaced just recently, and is from July. And maybe there could be some discourse on whether the officer acted within his powers, or if not, if he should face repercussions.

Cop shouldn't have touched the kid

    Kid should have listened.

"A dude is the guy who works on a ranch!" Lawl, cretin.

"You disrespect me, my badge, and my department." Come on, the cunt is a disgrace by himself. You don't grab a kid like that by the neck just because his parents fail to give him some manners.

EDIT: @ Libra, or whatever. Pussies run. Real men face the consequences. ;]

amen evans. and paul miller, i think douche, faggot and fatass fit in perfectly with the situation at hand. if you were in that situation what you call the officer. i think we all know i ain't gonna be nice that is for sure.

Dunno if he's homo, but I don't consider him to be a "fatass". A douche, maybe. But, like Paul said, calling him names is far from bringing anything worthwhile to the table.

I think the terms "abusive", "short-tempered", and "power-hungry" befit him most. There just was no justification for grabbing him like that, regardless of how annoying he was. Still, I'm glad he was talked down a bit. Kids these days...

I'd probably stick with "officer." And if he laid a hand on me when I offered no resistance, I'd call him "I'm calling my lawyer right now. See you in court." You don't call the officer anything. Then he might have a real argument for you getting out of line or taking an aggressive posture. Use of words like "man" or "dude" don't imply that at all, and "officer" implies listening and compliance, though not admittance of guilt. Which, as a law abiding citizen, is what you want in a case of a simple misunderstanding.

Not doing things that will get you arrested in the first place may solve the problem.

    This debate, again...

The smart thing to do is to not do anything that will get you fined in the first place.

It's not a display of compliance as much as acknowledging that the man has a role to play. He's not "just another citizen", he represents the law, the rest of society.

Kind of like how we say "doctor" and "driver".

Cops get pissed when you don't "respect" them. Trust me, I know. But this guy looked like a fucking rent-a-cop. The kid should have ran and flicked him off.

Alcohol doesn't always give me that ambition to make smart actions.
Especially when it's illegal for me in the first place.
