Ok, so my brother downloaded a video file last night that was split into several parts, ending in .aa, .ab, .ac, .ad, etc. Anyone know how to join these so that the video file can be watched?

Never heard of it =/ Googled .aa file, .ab file and .ac file and they all came up with different things. Check the place he got it from?
there's no explanation there, I'm gonna try renaming the extensions to .001, .002, etc and see if HJSplit can join them.
You could always try extracting them with winrar. I have had files with crazy extensions and sometimes that works. Other times, it doesn't but it is worth a shot.
