I could pull off 18 at 16 at some places that were known to not usually ask for ID.

Yeh I used to do that, but then I got bored of going to music bars, which was pretty much all we used to go to. Now its just normal pubs, so that I can actually talk to my friends.

I don't get asked for ID a lot unless the club/bar is really anal about checking, but when I do it's for something completely ridiculous. Like the time I bought a lottery ticket (16+) shortly after I'd turned 19. I do look kind of young but that was bizarre. :\

i find it stupid that in this country, you can be drafted, go to war, fight for your country, and be killed, without ever tasting booze legally.
