Default Castlevania: Symphony of the night.. No iso on here..

Hi. This site is awesome and has alot of good stuff to read and download. One game I am looking for is the Castlevania Symphony of the night ISO for ps1. I downloaded it off a torren using Bitcomet.

The bad thing is the game works but there is no music playing. in my castlevania Sotn folder, I have a .bin and a .Cue file. Um is this iso bad or something?

I wish this site has one.

Assuming you're using ePSXe, do you have XA sound enabled?

well how do I convert .bin and .cue files into one big file? Is there a plugin that allows me to use the .bin file and activate the music? the .cue is in the same directory. that file is the music file?

This is the advice you should check before converting to .iso which shouldn't be needed.

I recomend you don't the cue file is rather small to start with and helps if the CD Image has sound tracks

*.iso images don't contain CDDA tracks (Music tracks) so that makes bin2iso a little pointless

Also for games with CDDA tracks you need to mount them with Daemon tools 3.47

For games that don't use CDDA tracks anyway you can just delete the cue and use run iso from ePSXe or whatever emu you use, no need to convert anything, though mounting is still best in some times so maybe it's best to keep the cue sheet anyway to be on the safe side

P.S. never use MagicISO to convert PSX CD Images it will destroy the xa and str file system (xa=sound fx/music str=movies)

Acutally I didn't need to do any converting because I went into epsxe and went into the sound configuration and enable XA sound and voila music and voices came on!

I had the good iso! thank you to the people who helped me.. and to the ones who did help me but wasn't nessecary!
