Default Problem with Resident Evil 2

    CPU: Intel P4 519 3.06ghz
    Graphics: Geforce 6200 TC 256MB
    Operating System: Windows XP SP2
    Emulator: Project64
    Graphics plugin: Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6
    ROM: Resident Evil 2
    System: Nintendo 64

Well I downloaded your Resident Evil N64 ROM only to find it was Resident Evil 2 ?, when I get into the game you can see the zombies through the cars and the screen tends to get messed up, does anyone know how I can fix this ?

And I also must say what a damn great web site this is, keep up the great work

This is a "known issue" within project64. You can hardly do anything. Read more about it in the emulator help file.

The only thing I can suggest is to simply play the PS1 version..

    It's soooooo much better...

Dunno what makes you think the PS1 version is beter than the N64 version, the PSX version actually has less features but I'll agree that the PSX version runs just fine.

Personly I think the best version is on the GC as it has most the features from all the different versions (I use a PSX to GC pad converter aswell before someone says the GC controls suck or anything )

The Dreamcast version also puts the PSX one to shame and has a cool VMU health display

I have all versions of Resident Evil 2 yeah sad I know

Edit:- I don't have the Game.com version, I forgot about that version

Zorlon dont be ashamed about the GC controller cuz its ownt and i think it would be way better than xbox or ps2 IF ONLY the c stick was replaced for another proper analogue stick

anyway i have proper versions of resi evil 2 on both PSX and GC.

although i hear the N64 version is the best because... well read this cool fact about the different versions from gamefaqs

    http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/game...me/535837.html

go down to Version Changes Guide.

Acording to that the DC is the best one overall oh well I have that version aswell obviously, I can't realy argue with the comments they put either, asides from adding in the GC version they did seem to remove some of the graphical glitches like models loosing parts (not very noticable to start with) a common example is shery loosing the edge of her neck (shown in the wesker report aswell)

Wonder how well emulated the DC version is ... although DC emulation is a pain for most members to start with, I can't be bothered with it myself either but then again I own a DC anyway

    I meant emulation-wise.
