question with 7z

i just got an iso that was split and to 5 parts and compressed with 7z, i extracted a file from the first one, now how do i get the disc image from there?

Huh? If you use WinRAR to extract something with several parts you should extract the first one and get it from there.

i'm using that 7z.....not winrar and the file i extracted isnt a disk image, its another 7z file

open the other 7z with 7-zip and find out whats in it if anything

It's not all that unusual to have a compressed file inside a split compressed file

well if i try to open any but the first part of the split it says its not a supported archive

The file you said you extracted not the split files

Ok, tell us whats the complete name of the file you are trying to extract, extensions included.

Copy all the 7z split files into a new folder [don't incude the file you extracted before] and then extract and run the attached file from the same folder, then extract the Rubuilt.7z file it creates

lol cookie was asking about the split files ext not the file ext of the file you extracted

it says the rebuilt.7z is not a supported archive

th split files were 7z.001, .7z.002 ect. if that helps =P

did you get any error message while extracting the split files

Also do you have the newest version of 7-zip installed
(4.23 = stable)
(4.30 = beta)

yeah, i installed it earlier today, this is the first time i've used, which im geussing is why im getting all these problems
