Day After Yesterday
The storylines etc are fake as shit. The actual moves I don't give a shit who you are it is gonna fucking hurt if you get powerbombed etc. The punches are fake as are the kicks. You want really hard wrestlign check out some japanese promotions. Check out Ring of Honour and defiantely check out TNA which will be debuting on Spike TV in a few weeks time.
Dude, grow up. It's fake.
Yes, the people may be physically strong and really do jump off the top rope, but all the matches are planned out in the beginning. They plan who the winner and loser will be. They even plan for people to run in and interfere in others peoples matches, and who will be the "good guy" or the "bad guy". So yeah, it's fake, which doesn't matter anyway because wrestling is gay. It's just a bunch of guys running around in spandex, trying to pin each other into submission. Personally, If you like to watch wrestling, then you might as well watch "homoerotic" porn. It's basically the same thing except the intro music is alot better.
Yeah, I definitely think its fake. Just watching it you can see how bad it is.
EDIT:
Well said.Originally Posted by Shadow X

It's scripted. Everything actually happens, but it's already planned out beforehand.
Obviously its scripted otherwise they will get injured and you don't want your top star who is drawing a house audience of 8,000 odd people getting injured. It would effect your business dramaticly. TO the person who said its homoerotic seriously get a fucking life. Shows your insecure about your sexuality. Wrestling is sports entertainment its about the entertainment factor why do you think WWE gives you 3 matches on RAW and then the rest of the show is full of angles and interviews.
Judging from your serious reaction, You must not be secure about your sexuality or maybe you're just a big wrestling fan. Either way, you lose.Originally Posted by Al_V1
I'm happy with my sexualityI'm straight as straight can be. I am a huge wrestling fan but not WWE so much anymore more into New Japan and TNA and I may lose to you but thats just your opinion and quite frankly I don't care for your opinion.

The blood is usually real but it's not always as a result of the wrestling. A lot of wrestlers use a technique known as blading which, funnily enough, involves hiding a razorblade in their wristband or whatever and cutting their forehead open once they've been knocked onto the mat. I know it sounds crazy but that really is how the majority of them do it. On the other hand you may get wrestlers like Mick Foley who bleed the "hard" way.Originally Posted by Syphon
Toto pretty much hit the nail on the head with his reply. The actual wrestling is real but the matches/storylines are scripted and rehearsed long beforehand.

yes...it is real, but scripted, heck, the dudes actually help their opponent to do moves.
If you ever see a wrestler go on the mat or ground with one of his hands near his head and bleeds after he gets up from it thats when he blades. Like Cosmic said it is usually in the wristband or the ref gives them the blade or most times now the person they are against uses the blade on the wrestler who is about to bleed.Originally Posted by Cosmic
Mick also has a tendency to have his "hard" bleeding go awry. SEE: Cactus Jack vs. Sabu. The bottle breaks after about the 6th hit.
Fake as heck, but a hell of a lot more fun to watch than "real" wrestling... Has anybody ever watched olympic style wrestling? It's like watching a gay pr0n0... WWE isn't so it's better in my book.
