ps2 burning and playing

can you play a ps2 game thats been burned in the same formats that ps1 games are in, like iso, image, etc. on the actuall ps2 console. or put it this way can i download a ps2 game and just play it on my ps2

if it has a mod chip installed, just like the PS1, AFAIK yes

You either need a modchip as Andeh said or a swop trick preferably with Swap Magic Discs with a slide card or flip top mod for the older PS2 model

Slide card, you can make one with a credit card or something of that size.

I'll look for the original image tomorrow (I'm off to bad ) but that link has a small version of the image I uploaded ages ago of the slide card, plus that link has a guide for booting up PSX backups on a PS2
