To everyone who is British, happy bonfire night and all. Please keep safe when you go to firework displays and if you're having a homemade display, please keep even safer because as you know that's even more dangerous . Don't do anything bad with any bonfires and don't shove sparklers in anyone's faces (Make sure you wear gloves!). Anyway, just a friendly reminder.. Have a happy bonfire night!
And to those who aren't British. Bonfire night is the day when we "celebrate" Guy Forkes. Guy Forkes was a notorious terrorist who planted gunpowder underneath the Houses of Parliament something like 400 years ago. He was going to blow up the Houses of Parliament when the police caught him. During this time of year, kids will often sit with miniature dolls, begging, saying, "Penny for the Guy." And things like that. It's not exactly an important date, but it's a fun date where we get to see pretty fireworks .
So who is going to a fireworks display tonight? I'm not. I have work, whee.
