You have missed something imagen.iso to image.cdi runs for ages if it has a file to work on, otherwise it does what you have described.

Posibilities
01. You didn't save at all with cdgenPS2
02. You saved in the wrong format in cdgenPS2
03. You saved to a different path in cdgenPS2
04. you changed the file name when saving in cdgenPS2

I'm pretty sure I did everything right. When I click on imagen.iso to image.cdi it doesn't give me an option to save or anything. A small black window just pops up for a split second then closes. I've already saved in the cdgenPS2, and I've followed your instructions to the letter, as far as I know.

or did you either not have a file called imagen
or did you have 2 files both called imagen

I have 1 file called imagen, but it's only 46kb. If I unzip it, the folder is empty.

then you made an error with cdgenPS2 and created an empty image did cdgenPS2 even show any of the files you draged n droped to it?

did you do something silly like remove the CD you dragged the files from before it made the iso.

Nope. I honestly have no idea what's wrong, since everything you've explained, I've done. Hm.. actually, I think I'll redo the whole thing from from scratch and see if it works this time. I'll fill you in on how it went as soon as I can

I hooked up my PS2 for the first time in 1 1/2 months, and i put a game in to play it(of course), and at the memory card screen, it starts to read the disc and then just stops and sits there, it doesnt show a CD, and doesnt go to the Please insert game disc. So i went out and baught Katamari Damacy to see if it was just the game that didnt work, but it did it for this game as well. Any help on why it doesnt work.

If the thing is past guarentee I would take the thing apart and see if the Laser is still connected, but if it's still under garentee phone sony up and ask them to repair it for you, if you don't have a mod chip installed.

You may still be able to send it to sony for a small charge if it doesn't have a mod chip in it, I have no idea how much they would charge for such a thing though.

Other things you can do before hand though are just the normal things like run a CD lens cleaner through a few times.

Listen for the CD/DVD spinning in it if you can't hear anything it does sound like the laser had died or has disconected either way you need to open her up and check the laser unit, if needs be buy a new one or just buy another PS2, ask for a new one for Christmas

Personly I need a new PS2 myself :/, but yeah I can't just go out and buy another one because of lack of money n stuff.

Well,I have a problem with visual boy Advance,it
never run at 100%,it's alway 70-80% so the game is slow and the music too so anyone knows why?(It does that with all the games)

Yeah sounds like your PC just isn't good enough for GBA emulation you would be suprised at how much it actully uses

There are tricks though to atempt to improve the speed in VBA like in the options drop down
frame skip - tick auto
frame skip -> Throttle - set to 100%
video -> Render Method - (Just have a play they all run over 100% easy for me so I don't remember what is the best out of those for lower end PC's/Video Chip sets)

You could also request it at The Trading Post, you don't always need to trade but sometimes just offering can help in getting the game/s you want

Alternately, if it's been seeded on the BT tracker, he could always request a reseed in the proper section.
